From March 25th thorugh April 6th takes place at the Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall, takes place a public installation of
BMW art cars.
The event exhibits two sections, being one a collection of four cars designed by Andy Warhol, Frank Stella, Robert Rauschenberg and Roy Lichtenstein.
The other one features a 30' by 40' section of a football-field size art project by the contemporary artist Robin Rhode, made with a 2009 Z4 Roadster mounted with paint dispensers.
The
BMW Art Car project started in 1975.
So, is he going to paint while driving the car around? That could be an interesting feat, especially if he was going to incorporate some drifting :)
