Moore College of Art & Design seeks Director/Chief Curator of The Galleries

The Moore College of Art & Design, Philadelphia, PA., is seeking for a Director/Chief Curator for its galleries.

The position will include supporting the mission and role of the institution as a cultural reference, by providing a forum for exploring contemporary art and ideas, enriching the artistic and intellectual spirit of the college and of the Greater Philadelphia community and beyond.

Educational programs for all ages, organizing exhibitions and offering insights into the work of established and emerging artists and designers, and providing the educational resources for a career in art & design, as well as overseeing the organization of free public events and programs that highlight Moore as a gathering place for those wishing to learn, express and share their creativity, are part of the functions attributed to the Gallery Director/Chief Curator.

He/she will also supervise a staff of two full-time staff as well as part-time installers, student interns, work study students, and serve as an active member of the President’s Senior Management Team.
