Call for Entries: “To Go” Ceramic Exhibition at Mendocino Art Center

“To Go” is a ceramic exhibition that will display clay vessels and sculptures inspired by this theme. The theme “To Go” is opened to interpretations, it can be a flask, a lunch box, a car cup or something a lot more unpredictable, tubes with food used on spaceships perhaps? Mixed media is accepted as well, but majority of the material in the piece must be clay. Submitted work may not exceed 50 lbs or 40 inches in any direction.

All work has to be submitted by October 15 2011, with a non-refundable entry fee of $15 per piece or $40 for 3 pieces. All submissions have to be made my mail. Artists will be notified about results on November 1st. The show will open on December 1st and end on December 31, perfect time for Christmas shopping.

Mendocino Art Center invites artists from nearby areas as well as those from a far. All art that is shipped to the exhibition, in case it doesn't sell can be shipped back.

For more information please see the submission and guideline form.
